Quality Inspection Procedure

Procedure: Quality Line Inspection   

SCOPE: Define procedure for quality errors found during production

PURPOSE: Ensure accurate and quality acceptable product is being produced

ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS: N/A

PROCEDURE:

1. All Employees are responsible for the quality of their work individually, as well as collectively as a team member
2. All employees are empowered to stop production at their station to report quality issues and to prevent future assembly
3. During production, if required, an initial must be placed on the trunk to positively identify one’s work
4. If 3 errors from the same employee are found during one day, a formal write up will occur
   • Write Ups are subject to additional discipline if warranted
   • Write Ups can occur prior to the 3^rd instance if deemed necessary
5. Consecutive write ups could lead to termination of employment
6. Below scale

1^st Write Up: Formal Warning

2^nd Write Up: Letter in Lieu of 2 Day Suspension

3^rd Write Up: Termination
