When a Division or department determines there is a possible cross-departmental task or process that should be streamlined or created, the following steps will be followed. The Continuous Improvement team will be responsible for spearheading the project. Either the CI Specialist or Shared Services Project Manager will take the lead role.

4 | CI/Project Manager schedules meeting with requestor to obtain necessary information to rank the project |
5 | After the meeting, CI/Project Manager accesses Shared Service Project Tracking sheet on Advantus Continuous Improvement SharePoint site and completes Rank, Dept Impacted, Status and Assigned To columns on sheet |
