Acquisition Process
Assists divisions and departments in the acquisition process. Perform data collection and analysis throughout the process. They also serve as a liaison between Advantus and the seller to oversee the acquisition process.
Phase 1 Due Diligence
Phase that begins at initial contact with the potential seller and continues until the expiration date of the Letter of Intent (LOI)
Phase 2 Closing
Phase begins at the expiration of Letter of Intent (LOI) through execution of Purchase Agreement
Phase 3 Discovery
Phase begins after the integration kickoff meeting and continues until all necessary data is obtained to begin preintegration decisions.
Phase 4 Preintegration Decision
Phase begins once enough data is obtained to make decisions for integration and is completed once preparation tasks to integrate begins.
Phase 5 Integration Prep
Phase begins once decisions are made that impact the physical and systematic integration. Phase continues through the actual integration.
Phase 6 Integration
Phase begins when physical and systematic integration begins and ends when all integration tasks are completed.
Phase 7 Post Integration
Phase begins once the integration is complete and continues until the After Action Review (AAR) meeting and all action items are completed.
