From your homepage, select Project & Items > Other Record Types > Product Categories > New
- Enter the product category name.
- NOTE – Always use the division or brand prefix before the name (ex: CLI Glitter) because we have product categories that could span multiple options, and we want it to be obvious which brand/division the product category belongs to.
- Select the Product Line the Product Category will be used for.
- NOTE – The chosen Product Line is essential because the system has logic built in to reduce the choices for Product Category based on the information entered for Division and Product Line.
- Enter Shelf Life Days if applicable.
- Check the Audit Inbound Receipts if applicable.
- Select the Warranty if known.
- Save
