Step 1: Login to MIPCS*
*Make sure you choose the MIK-Supplier Banner-Role.
Step 2: Click Test Request Form
Step 3: You can create a new TRF in MiPCS 2 ways.
- Click Create New TRF
Or
- Search for a previous TRF using the Search Criteria and Copy that TRF.
Step 4:
Under the General Info subtab complete the following areas and click Save TRF.
- Check Quote Before Testing
- Supplier ID (85359 – Sulyn Industries Inc (Import) is most often used)
- Service Requested
- TRF Description
Step 5: Update the Supplier and Billing Information under the Contact Information subtab and click Save TRF.
Step 6: Add contact information for anyone who needs to receive the final report to the Send To Information subtab and click Save TRF.
Step 7: Under the Item Selection subtab choose the appropriate testing lab from the drop down.
Step 8: Type in the Advantus item number in the VPN field and click Apply Criteria to search for the item.
Do this for every item being added to the TRF.
Step 9: Once all items have been searched for choose Select All to mark them and click Save TRF.
Step 10:
Under the Item Details subtab add the following information and click Save TRF.
- Photo
- Supplier Comments – Grouping information for MIK to include MIK SKUs
- Mfg Date – Either the first of the month or the 15th of the month
- Color
- Suggested Age
Step 11: Under the Grouping/Test Type subtab choose which item(s) will be tested to full protocols. Click Update Test Type by that item and then from the Test Type dropdown choose Full Protocol Testing and then click Apply/Save Test Type.
Step 12:
Follow step 11 again to indicate which items will be Partial/Other Testing or Grouped, No Testing.
- Partial/Other Testing needs information in the OTHER text box.
Step 12a: Grouping must be approved by MIK before it is entered into the TRF. Contact MIK via email for approval.
Step 13: Click Save TRF.
Step 14: Click Submit TRF for Approval.
Step 15: Email MIK to let them know the TRF has been submitted.
Step 16: Once the TRF is approved by MIK go back into MiPCS and utilize the Search Criteria section under the Test Request Form tab to find the TRF.
Step 17: Click on the correct TRF and click Publish TRF.
Step 18: Once the TRF Status has changed to Published you can click Print TRF and save the document as a PDF.
