Process
- Orders are received via EDI and auto approved.
- Verify orders are filled and pass validation.
- If anything fails, email Tiffany K for direction on how to handle. Usually fails are for pricing.
- Go to the customer record, select Open SO Details and export to Excel.
- Filter for all the lines from today. Delete any other lines. Title this tab “Complete.”
- Create a new tab, title it “Unfilled.”
- Copy the sheet from “Complete” and delete any filled lines.
- The sheet “Unfilled” should only have lines that did not fill or did not fill in full from that days orders.
- Create a third tab, title it “Filled BO.” This tab will be for any lines that are filled from backorders for that days ship to location.
- Go back to the customer record, select “open SO Lines Only.” Export to Excel.
- Delete the lines that are already released, any lines from order date of today, and any lines that are not filled.
- From this list, filter for only the lines for that days ship locations (see chart below using the SHIP TO column).
- Copy this sheet and add it to the original sheet under the tab “filled BO.”
- Go back to the customer record, select “open SO Lines Only.” Export to Excel.
- Send the Excel sheet with the 3 tabs to Tiffany K for review.
- Tiffany will advise on which BO lines are ok to release.
- Change the PSD on the BO’s that are being released to match the release schedule. (See chart below).
- Use SO Manager to make the change.
- Filter for customer number (02DEP), location (Gun Club Road), Has committed (yes), Release Status (hold), and ship to address.
- For ship to address, use the location code on the list below, under the OM Ship To codes. If you use the ship to location it will not pull up any results.
- Update the PSD to match the ship date for that location.
- Filter for customer number (02DEP), location (Gun Club Road), Has committed (yes), Release Status (hold), and ship to address.
- Use SO Manager to make the change.
- Release all orders and send a release email to the GCR Shipping email.
- Copy Tiffany K and Virginia A.
